Trying to Figure Out How to Cure Tinnitus? You’re Not Alone

tinnitus5Underground Techno, Trance, Hardcore, club Dub Step and more; these are the kind of music my 38-year old friend and colleague listen to, not only at home but in her car and even on her head set at work. There are times when I and my other colleagues would have to take the head set out of her ears for us to be able to speak to her when necessary. Most of the time during weekends, she also goes to party that has these kinds of music. Aside from travelling and smoking, this is how my friend enjoys her life. Recently however, we no longer see her at the parties and we seldom see her with her headset at work.

When asked, she told us that she has been experiencing some annoying sound in her ears; some kind of ringing and buzzing. She also said that there are times when it is so loud that it seems someone roars behind her and at other times, it is just a low hissing or clicking sound. She said most of the time she cannot sleep and feels irritated. Many advised her to see a doctor which she always brush aside thinking that what she is experiencing is something temporary. However, after some time, she still complains about it. She admits that it is getting worst despite her reducing the volume of sound from her car and avoiding listening through her head set.  After a lot of convincing, we managed to bring her to an ENT specialist.

The doctor told us that she is suffering from Tinnitus. That was the first time we heard such thing. The doctor explains that it is not a disease but a condition that may have resulted from her exposure to loud noises. He said that although it is not a sign of something serious, it has to be treated before it worsens. But he said he needs to identify the underlying cause first. Only then the treatment can be done. Meanwhile, the doctor recommended a Sound Therapy and the use of ‘White Noise” to give her relief.

For a period of time, my friend has not been complaining about it, until after the night we went to a party. She said she cannot really hear us and she feels dizzy. We went back to the doctor the following day. The doctor said she had hypertension and this actually makes the tinnitus more noticeable. We had to admit that she was a bit stressed at work and we went for drinks to relax and he told us that all those, causes hypertension. The doctor has to give her some medications, again just for relief.

Basic Guidelines On How To Cure Tinnitus

My friend’s condition makes me really curious. Tinnitus is new to me so I search online for banner3remedies and possible cure. Some of these things I learned really surprised me:

  • Medications like antibiotics, aspirin, cancer and Quinine medications, and certain depressants may cause or worsen tinnitus. In fact, although in some cases some drugs help reduce the severity of symptoms or complications of tinnitus, Drugs cannot really cure tinnitus.
  • Although it is said that causes for Tinnitus are unclear, exposure to loud noise, earwax blockage, ear bone changes. age-related hearing loss, head injuries or neck injuries may cause tinnitus.
  • ANYONE may experience tinnitus but these people are more at risk; people who work in noisy environments such as construction workers, musicians, and soldiers, men, smokers and those who are with conditions that affects blood flow, such as high blood pressure or narrowed arteries (atherosclerosis).
  • That tinnitus is said to be common affecting about 10-15% of people.
  •  There are thousands of non-medical treatments available. However, each of those who offered these various treatments claimed that theirs is the best and most effective if not the most popular.
  • Since it is a symptom of an underlying condition, identifying and understanding the root cause is the only way to deal with it.

Secrets on How to Cure Tinnitus

True enough my friend’s condition did not totally improve by just using the White noise and taking medications. She herself almost gave up. She wanted to quit her promising job. We are all concern as she is an asset to our company. One day, I saw this add which I thought was just one of those advertisements. I read through the link that was given and saw several inspiring testimonials.

I was truly amazed to know that a guy, in quest for real peace and freedom from tinnitus, did a lot of research to help himself, now helping a lot of people all over the world.  It is true that the only person who can truly tell us what works is someone who has gone through the same thing. Click here to see the book that helped me to finally get rid of tinnitus.

Although my friend is a very positive person, she was sceptical with this. She said that this is just one of those who claimed to give the most effective remedy. Nevertheless, I bought the system online as a gift to her. She hesitantly tried it. In fact we have to be with her to really start working on it.

How to Cure Tinnitus: Success Stories

Three weeks ago, she came to see me at my desk first thing in the morning. With a coffee in her hand, she hugged me really tight and said, “Thank you”. I didn’t really know what was it about but before I can open my mouth, she told me that she has been feeling so much better since we accompanied her on her first day of trying the system. Tears were almost falling when she told me how much she wanted to quit work because of what happened to her and she can’t really believe that the program works.  She is still doing the program now but she feels that it’s over; that “she’s back”. Everyone agreed. In fact we all feel that she looked younger and more energetic now. The only difference perhaps is that she no longer joins us in party places where we used to go the past weeks. We all learned a lesson actually. After what we have witnessed, we thought of just going for fun run and cause-oriented activities on weekends.  It is not as glamorous as being in the bar in our best outfits but we are beginning to enjoy our lifestyle now.
